The plastic was taken from rivers in Kanpur. Description of the process: With our technology, we first took waste out of the rivers. This waste is then sorted into inorganic and organic waste. The next step is sorting into recyclable plastic waste and non-recyclable plastic. While the non-recyclable plastic is sent for thermal recycling, we dry the recyclable plastic and offer it locally to create new plastic products and the like. What we measure: During this process the plastic is weighed and this measurement is fully documented via our software.
